Memorial
There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven – A time
to give birth and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to
mourn and a time to dance.
- Ecclesiastes 3:1-2,4
The dogs we have been blessed with at Tigking Kennels have added so much to our lives. They all become great friends and
companions, teaching us just as much as we teach them. We are always saddened when we lose our dear friends, though we understand
that there is indeed a time for everything, including saying goodbye.
The following page is dedicated to the memory of those wonderful dogs whose brief time here on Earth has come to an end.
December 14, 1997 ~ April 11, 2007
Dream passed away on April 11th, 2007, living a full life and making several wonderful memories. Her track record of excellence in
the show ring started early in life, with Dream achieving her American Championship by the time she was eight months old.
Not content to stop there, Dream began to show internationally. In 1999, she competed at the World Show in Mexico City, Mexico.
While there she won four different titles, including best of breed. Not long after Dream won her German International IABCAA title.
Dream passed on her legacy of excellence to her offspring, as all her pups received their Championships before they were one year
old. A friend to all, Dream was a companion full of warmth and joy. She will be sorely missed.
February 19, 1995 ~ November 20, 2009
On Friday, November 20, 2009, Dylan died after suffering multiple strokes. While we are saddened by his passing, Dylan’s life was a
decidedly joyful one - full of success, excitement, and companionship.
His victories in the ring started almost immediately after coming to the United States. In the Spring of 1999 Dylan became an
American Champion. Soon thereafter he competed at the World Show in Mexico City, Mexico, receiving his Americana and Mexicana titles.
Before leaving the ring, Dylan won his FCI International Championship and became a Mexican Grand Champion. His pups took after their
father, twenty-four of which became AKC Champions.
April 24, 2000 ~ April 2, 2010
As with so many of our shining stars at Tigking Kennels, Stacy won his Championship early in life. He quickly established himself as
a good natured dog and a faithful companion, who was always eager to make friends.
Shortly after Christmas of 2009, Stacy was diagnosed with lymph node cancer. After 17 chemo treatments and additional procedures, the
cancer failed to go into remission. Sadly, on April 2nd, 2010, Stacy passed away.
October 10, 1997 ~ July 8, 2011
Tiger was one of the founding dogs of Tigking Kennels. He finished his American Championship at eleven months of age. He began
competing internationally, eventually gaining his German International IABCCA title. Being a very intense dog, he loved the show ring.
In July of 2011, at the age of thirteen, he passed away. We will miss our dear Tiger greatly.
August 10, 1999 ~ November 26, 2011
Ellie was a go getter, becoming a champion before her first birthday. When competing at Westminster she won best of Opposite Sex
not once, but twice. The first time was in 2001 and her second victory that that venerable show came in 2003.
Ellie was such a delight to have in our kennel. She was a faithful companion, with an excessively sweet disposition. She loved
attention and was extremely patient with children and adults alike. While there may be others just as sweet or faithful, no one will
ever be able to take her place in our hearts.
